BoardVille Conference in Lake Maggiore Italy

Bi5 was recently at the BOARDVille2018 User Conference in Lake Maggiore in Italy. It was great to hear from some long time users in Puma and Coca-Cola Europe, as well as KPMG and Groupe SEB from France (had never heard of them but they have 300m customers).

It was great to hear how they all decided on BOARD as the tool to help them modernise and automate their basic accounting functions, and how these improvements are now having flow on benefits.  Benefits such as freeing up their finance team for more worthwhile analysis rather than spending time on report preparation.  ..very similar to the feedback we are getting from our customers here in Perth.

There are exciting times coming with a few new releases of BOARD during the year, the main one being with BOARD11 later this year.

BOARD 11 will see a much improved user interface, new objects, and the very impressive Big Data Engine and full dynamic HTML5, making for seamless integration and use of BOARD across mobiles, tablets and laptops/desktop.

With additional improvements to BOARD’s AI, NLP and Machine Learning capability it was also good to see a lot of BOARD’s dramatic growth in revenue being pumped back into developing and enhancing what is already a fantastic product

Like those global companies it’s time to automate and modernise your Accounting, Reporting and Budgeting and Forecasting functions. Whilst everything else is improving, the functions which let you know you whether the improvements are in fact improvements are often forgotten.
